Mesquite Motor Mania 2009

The "Mesquite Motor Mania 2009" - Mesquite Car Show sponsored by the Mesquite Resort Association in Mesquite, Nevada was held January 16-18. Over 500, all years, makes and models of classic vehicles made the Casa Blanca, Oasis Resort, Virgin River and Eureka Casino their weekend home. The participant's were able to cruise around to all of the participating casinos to Show & Shine their vehicles. Participants and spectators from all over the country and the world attended the car show.
On Saturday, there was an Open Headers Cruise. The Mesquite Police Department escorted the cruisers thru the Mesquite Resort Association Properties. Mayor Susan Holecheck was in the lead vehicle.
Over 260 total awards were given out including Top 150 Vehicles, Dignitary & Hotel Casino Sponsors Awards, Specialties & Crowd Pleasers Awards, Peoples Choice, Participant's Pick plus $15,000 in Cash/Drawing Prizes for Car Show Participants.
A special thank you goes out to the staff of all the casinos and the local businesses, in Mesquite, who welcomed us with excellent guest service. We don't want to to forget Mother Nature who provided weather that was perfect for the "Mesquite Motor Mania 2009".
The event was promoted, produced and worked by volunteers of the Las Vegas Cruisin’ Association, Inc. of Las Vegas, Nevada.
The Las Vegas Cruisin' Association, Inc. is a Non-Profit Organization committed to reliving the best of the good ol' days in a safe, sane, sensible and responsible manner. The organization intends to bring back the good ol' memories and atmosphere of the 50's, 60's, 70's & 80’s.
