slowly, or really slow? or normal pace?

painting motion, not too slow, not too fast..... you just have to get a feel for it as you do it.

did you use a flashlight on this too? how big is your flashlight anyhow?

____________________________________

Yes, I painted this with colored flashlights. I carry about 6 flashlights with me when I do night shots, from varying size and luminosity

ok I need more in depth description on how you pain the ground with a light, is the flashlight steadily moving? And why are tourists sawing them apart, to take a piece of the history home?

___________________________________________

Yes, the flashlight is moving.. actually I am. I am walking throughout the scene painting the ground and the bottoms of the cars, being careful not to let the flashlight shine at the camera or allow its side profile to be seen by the camera. Dee was probably walking around in the picture, too.

Yes, they are cutting pieces off the cars and taking them home.... bast*rds

 M.SpauldingUnited States wrote: Wednesday, August 20, 2008 - 2:38 PM

I guess I sould've went to visit my sister in amarillo, cuz I have been dying to see these cars, too cool!! Was it really that starry or is it PS?

_______________________________________

It was that starry, they are real. no PS. I used a flashlight to paint the lights on the ground and undercarriages of the cars during the exposure.

the cars are being sawed apart by idiot tourists.... better hurry.
