HI - what is the food of the South African kieviet as we have a breeding pair living on an open patch of grass next door to us - They have been nesting there for over a year with only a small bust to protect them - They recently lost both their babies and now have another two which we hope with not be eaten by the local domestic cats or the wild crows
It feeds primarily on insects and other small invertebrates. The lost of their babies is a pity, our kievieten live in open field, but often in protected area and there live many of these beautiful birds. I `m surprised that you know those birds, but they left our country in autumn and come back in spring, to cold here in winter;-) Greetings Hélène
Hallo Helene, das Bild bekommt KEINE Zensur 1! Sondern ausgezeichnet!!!! Meisen sind so schnell und flink!!! So ein Bild zu "produzieren" ist ganz große Spitzenklasse. Wäre auch der Bauch noch a bissel heller, der pure Wahnsinn. Klaus
Meisen sind super schnell, und ich habe nicht immer so viel Geduld Klaus. Bauch habe ich probiert, aber es ist nicht so schön, und mit 35x zoom gemacht ohne Stativ.
Mit ganzem Zoom Klaus, 840mm, und du weisst genau wie weit das ist. In September gemacht, plötzlich sah ich diese zwei Storch(e)s wo ich wohne. Ich war sehr froh, aber ich habe auch gefragt ob sie nächstes Jahr wierderkommen, und sie haben JA gesagt;-))) Schön oder;-))) Oh..und natürlich -1))) Ohne -1 hat es nicht so gut gelungen!!!!

Een jonge zwaluw, afgelopen zaterdag gefotografeerd. Ik heb deze bij iemand in het gastenboek gezet om te laten zien, ik laat deze nu maar staan, alleen verhuizen naar de ''birds'';-)
