The Ryans recently visited us here in Panama. We all got together and rented a beach house at Palmar and we really had a great time. Unfortunately I didn't get to stay the whole time so these pictures are only from the weekend, but it was still fun.

Christmas 2010 pictures in Oregon

This was a trip some people from the Embassy and I took to a cave here in Panama. It was a great time because we spent most of it wading around in a stream and got completely soaked!

The third album in the series, this time we take a trip to a market, a fair, and a mountain!

To celebrate our anniversary, Kara and I went to Lake Como and Bellagio. We had a great time!

This April, Kara and I took a trip to Egypt. Since then I have done a lot of nothing about getting this album up. But I finally did it so please accept my apologies and enjoy the pictures!

So its been more than a month, but my Paris album is finally up. Kara and I took this trip to go to Euro Disneyland and to the see the sights, and we were not disapointed. There aren't many pictures of Disneyland, but it rained for most of our time there. Oh well, enjoy the album!

This is the last album chronicling the Benson's and the Ryan's visiting the Hurt's in Rome. It took long enough to get up but I think everyone will like it.

Kara and I, along with her parents and some family friends, Ron and Gloria Ryan, headed off to the Island of Elba and a quick stop in Pisa. We had an incredible time there. Enjoy the photos of some of the great stuff we saw.

Sgt Hurt

Recently a buddy of mine Chris Telles dropped by for a visit. He was here to see the Family Day that I have already posted pictures for. But he and I went around taking pictures of stuff before that too. Mostly in Balboa Park and at the USS Midway museum. Some of the shots came out really great so I thought I would go ahead and post them. Enjoy!!

On June 7'th I was a coach at the rifle range. It was a great opportunity for me to take some shots and show every one what a day in the life of a Marine can be like. Every Marine should go through this once a year.

Red Bull put on an air race and show in San Diego harbor on September 22. Not being one to miss an opportunity like this A friend of mine and I had to, and I mean had to go! The shots came out better than I could have hoped. I hope you enjoy them too.

These are the promised photos of the helicopters that were taken during the family day event. Descriptions are provided to give an idea of what's going on. Enjoy!!

On September 15'th my squadron had a family day. The idea was to have Marines of the unit invite family and friends to see the helicopters in action to give them a sense of what everything looks like when it's put into action. This album is only the people shots. To get the action shots of the helicopters look out for the next album.

This is my album of pictures taken while on vacation with my girlfriend (now my fiancé, in case you hadn't heard the good news) Kara. These are from June 21st through the 27th. *Note* All of the group photo's have been posted even though they might seem repetitive. This is because one shot may portray a particular part of the family better than another. Please feel free to browse and print a copy of the group shot that has all of your family's eyes open.

These are pictures of my sisters baby, Devin Michael DeLaCruz, with a few toward the end of my cousin John and his wife Mona's new baby Leeanne. She's very cute too and I couldn't resist getting permission to post those as well. The photo's of my sisters baby start from no more than 15 minutes after birth and continue until a couple days after. I hope you enjoy them because these are some of the most outrageously cute photos I have ever taken.

This is the second Rome album I have up, but the first in a series to document my two week vacation in Italy with Kara. This album is very large because all of the photo's from our tour of the Colosseum are in here as well so its kind of a two in one album. But don't get discouraged with the number of pictures because the Pantheon at the end has some of the best photo's on my site. I hope everyone enjoys the pictures!

This is the day trip that we took to Tivoli and Villa d'Este. There are some really great fountains there as you will see inside.

This is the trip that Kara and I took for a couple days to Venice. Its a great place to visit and we had a really good time. Enjoy the pictures.

This is the last album documenting my trip to Italy to see Kara. This one has pictures from our trip to see St. Peters Basilica and to see the Castel Sant'Angelo. Both of them are great and well worth seeing if you are ever there, and we had a great time. I hope everyone has enjoyed all of the pictures from this trip!

This is a photo album of some of the pictures I took while I was in Virginia for a while. You are going to see a lot of picture of ducks so let me give you that warning up front. If you don't like ducks, don't look at this album.. and then get yourself to a shrink or some thing cause you're weird.

This album contains photos that I have taken over the past few months here. Most of these things and places I don't have any idea where or what they are. I took them all, I just don't remember where I was or what they are. That just means that there won't always be comments on the pictures. Still, I hope everyone enjoys browsing around!

This album is for a trip that I and another Marine took to the Honduran Island of Roatan. Jose from El Salvador Divers was kind enough to set everything up and it was a great time. I don't know how much he set up but I also want to mention Alex also from El Salvador divers as being very helpful in getting us involved with the trip. We had a great time so enjoy the pictures.

When you are practing to take better pictures or just playing with the settings on your camera, sometimes you need a colorful subject that isn't going to move around too much. What better than a flower right? Especially since dogs and cats complain so much when you try to paint them and kids move around too much.

This is a collection of photos from a quick little trip down the highway I took to see a small archeological site. I don't remember exactly when I took this trip but it was soon after I arrived in El Salvador.

On my way to El Salvador I had to stop in Paris for a day while a problem with my airline tickets got fixed. The trip itself was a mess. My baggage got lost at every stop along the way. But while I was in Paris I decided to snap a few pictures so here they are. The only thing you see here is a shopping center and the what I am told is the church of Notre Dame.
