It’s a rare occasion to see the White Christmas in Chicago. This year it was miraculous: snow was around for only three days: it was gone the day after Christmas. I took pictures of our neighborhood: the lake (Michigan) is less than a 10 min walk from our place. A nice peninsular called “Promontory Point” is really close to us. --Galina
