I had my hair in an Afro, then I did a braid out my first one. After I did Kinky Twists and lasted for a while.

This is the aftermath of almost 2 months. I never, ever have take my braids out this early. Which is a very short time for me to keep braids/twists or whatever in. I always leave my braids in for 3 1/2 to 4 solid months. I am thrifty and on a tighter budget more than ever with this crazy economy! I always make sure that I get my money's worth, *rolling eyes* shoot! I had to take these twists out because it was irritating the mess out of my skin on the left side of my neck something terrible! I swear I broke out in this nasty eczema type rash as a result of them!! No matter how hard I tried to avoid inflaming the rash by putting the hair up in a pony tail, some strands would get loose and the uncomfortable itching would begin. The twists HAD TO GO!!!

My wonderful Fotki Friends *big group hug* I have finally updated. *Eyes rolling* I know it took me long enough! Well here it is. I got my hair braided by my cool and talented home-girl Roya. (Ooh chile she could braid.. and fast too!) I love when she my braids my hair it's not too tight and she parts your hair neatly!! *2 thumbs up* I had the Hair braiding shops hating in Harlem!! Lol! I rocked those braids loose with headbands, clips, and in Bantu Knots! My braids was cute and you couldn't tell me nothing! I DC'd and co-washed my hair every other week. I oiled my scalp with my mixture and sprayed my hair with Aussie Leave-In conditioner.
