Products for my Skin
After frustrating breakouts and flare ups on my skin and being diagnosed with atopic dermatis and eczema...I found a soothing remedy. I stopped using harsh body washes and soaps that contained sulfates in them. I was introduced to Burts Bees when a coworker gave me lotion to try. These products are 98-99% natural. They contain NO sulfates and NO mineral oil. My skin has turned from dry itchy scales into a healthy moisturized layer of protection! Since I have started using these products on my skin, my flare ups have been reduced significantly.
These products are not cheap.. but ladies if we spend so much on our hair products then we shouldn't compromise our skin's health either. They are worth the price in my opinion.

Hair Hair Hair 2008
My regimine as of April of '08:

*pre-poo on wet hair w/ sweet almond oil or jamaican black castor oil mixed with milk n' honey suave conditioner (they no longer sell this so I will start using suave tropical coconut conditioner once I run out of the milk 'n honey).

*wash and condition 1-2x per week

*deep condition with UBH (w/ heat under dryer with plastic cap) as needed

*I do not conditioner wash... my hair gets too mushy and my scalp can't take the build up. My hair's health thrives on shampoo first, then followed by a conditioner.

*I mist/spray my hair with water every day and then precede to sealing with moisturizers and oils.

*Shampoos with sulfates do not have a negative effect on my scalp or hair. HINT: If you feel that sulfates are too strong for your tresses, add a few drops of nourishing essential oils to shampoo to prevent overstripping the hair!
