Maintenant je pense que la mer t invite !

It all started with the idea that dear Sam was going back home to Uganda after his 3rd term for his PhD program. We wanted to have a drink but it became a barbeque. We invited also mutual friends like Jeanne-Marie and my sister Marleen and other friends and students of Karibu and Zeevaartschool.
Most of them will be leaving withing 1 to 4 months... just a few remain and a few will come back next year.

I think we were with 11 different nationalities
Ofcourse the Belgians, then Madagascar, India, Uganda, Lybia, Morocco, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Hongary, Senegal... a very international but more important, a very nice mixture of all culture and people :)
I am going to miss them when they are gone!

Alicija and Michel had moved half a year ago to a new location. Our friends Jeanne-Marie and Allain had been telling us that they lived in a beautiful place.
So when Sam was here, we got invited and really: IT WAS MOST BEAUTIFUL... or as Jeanne-Marie described... "pastorale"

Tom(as) asked me already a few times if I would join some party of pooling, which he playd a few times with others. Coincidentally he got to talk to Lieff of the secretariat of physics dept and she told him he could come to her place to play.
So ... at last ! 26th we went there with a little group and I was astonished about the huge basement she had there and the GIANT pooltable ! wowwww impressive.
Lieff was a wonderful host and she did everything to make us feel at home (thanks again!).
I must say I had really a terrific time and it was such fun! aaah I felt re-energized again :)
I think this tastes for more `-)
I hope next time we can beat the Penalty-boys hehehe
