9th Thailand International Kite Festival

Held every two years, this year at the Rama VI Camp near Cha-Am. It happens that this year is the 60th year in the reign of King Rama IX, so the festival is part of the celebration -- we were honored by a visit from the Princess to open the festival and view the kite flying!
