A day spent at the Summer Palace. Lots of nice gardens and corridors. Later we went to Wang Fu Jing to check out the famous eat street and took our chances with some fried scorpian and seahouse. They might look a little sad in their cages but trust me they are living the high life. The keepers keep them in airconditioned rooms and they sleep on blocks of ice to keep cool. Went to see the Potala Palace and Jokhang Temple. I always imagined the palace to be on some giant mountain and far far away from any cities...but it turns out its right in the middle of Lhasa next to the busy roads. the busy roads.

We stopped off on the way to have lunch with genuine nomads and had smelly yak momos (momos are like dumplings):S Went to Namtso Lake, it's at 4718m above sea level making it the highest in the world..WOOHOO..haha it was hard to run while we were there, had trouble breathing.
