Welcome to Hair's to You, Naturally! 1st Annual Natural Hair and Health Expo generously cosponsored by the Boston Black Women's Institute.

The first expo of its kind to be held in Boston, the expo is to showcase natural hair care technicians, holistic health professionals and our talented artists, as well as demonstrations and a hair and fashion show.

We sincerely hope to create a renaissance in natural hair care and holistic health awareness by networking and increasing basic knowledge of natural hair care options among individuals who have or are interested in textured hair. We want to encourage healthy living and overall wellness in the Black community. A portion of today's proceeds will go to our co-sponsor, the Boston Black Women's Health Institute. This is a non-profit organization committed to improving the health status of our communities, and to the empowerment, health and wellness of Black women in the greater Boston area through education, advocacy, self-help and leadership development.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to our all of our volunteers, workshop presenters, panel discussion participants and artists. We appreciate your support in helping us create awareness of natural hair and holistic healthcare in our community!

Jlmashby is a Sisterlocks consultant in training. She has traveled around the country attending natural hair care conferences, and was so inspired by the Nappy Hair Day she coordinated at her home last year, she decided to establish her own natural hair care business, Hair's to You Naturally!. She holds a Meeting Management Certificate from Bentely College and is currently employed as a Special Events Coordinator for a major teaching hospital in Boston, Massachusetts.
