The Custom Fleetside was designed by Larry Woods.An AMT 1/25 scale plastic kit of a Chevy Fleetside pick-up was built as a mock-up for the Custom Fleetside. The Fleetside would be one of the original 16 Hot Wheels die-cast cars.
