Fireworks in the Park

Each year the British remember Guy Fawkes, an English soldier who, in 1605, lead a group of Roman Catholics in an attempt to assasinate the Protestant King James I (James VI of Scotland) by blowing up Westminster Palace during the official opening of Parliament. He was executed for treason and attempted murder. Bonfires with an effigy of Fawkes (the Guy) on top are lit and firework set off! This display was in Walker Park in 2006.
