Whitley Bay & St Mary's Island

A walk along the promenade and beach from the town of Whitley Bay, North Tyneside, to St Mary's island, about two miles north. As it was low tide we are able to cross and see it's impressive lighthouse, a treasured local landmark! Discover a miniature bridge, a grizzly secret, sea, sand and rock pools and a sweet treat at the end!
