Victoria Falls can be seen and heard from a great distance. Plumes of mist rise 1,600 feet (500 meters) into the air and the sound of 120 millions (550 millions liters) of water per minute dropping 354 feet (108 meters) - abut twice that height of Niagara Falls- is deafening. dropping 354 feet (108 meters) - abut twice that height of Niagara Falls- is deafening. - photos: 8 (29 MB)

| | Peter Kuczkowski | - My best music
- Jan 1, 1975
Mike Oldfield "Omadawn" was recorded over nine months in 1974-5 at Mike's home studio and at The Manor in Oxfordishe. It was Mike Oldfield's first first appearance as a single under the title On Horseback to coincide with the release of the album in November 1975. In contrast to the rock influence of Tublar Bells and the pastoral, folk feel of Hergest Ridge, it is can be defined as an early example of what is now called "world music". Omadawn was an immediate big hit in Britain, reaching no 4 in the album chart. In United States, however, it failed to repeat the success of Tubular Bells and peaked at no 145.
