COME IN!

I have unlocked my album and am welcoming all of you who would like to see my pictures. I locked the album over six months ago in order to maintain my sense of safety. Due to some unpleasant incidents with visitors who did not respect this space, I felt exposed in a way that was not comfortable for me. However, I am willing to try again, because connecting with the vast majority of you who have come here to learn, share, and commune was wonderful, and I want to allow that process to continue.

I will try to reach out to those of you who have emailed me and left me guestbook messages asking for my password. However, I have received many hundreds of messages in these six months, so I cannot even begin to reach out to everyone. So, I would like to encourage those of you who come here to spread the world and help me tell others that they are welcome here again. Thank you.

I do not yet have a regimen up because I have not had the time and because I do not follow a regimen right now. However, as things wind down during winter break, I will try to condense into a regimen some basic measures I take. :-) Thank you all for your wonderful comments and for visiting. I'm also looking into a frequently asked questions page that might be helpful.

Because of an incident that literally just happened (with someone copying and pasting my pictures on a site and using them to advertise - all without prior permission from me!), I want to reiterate that neither my words nor pictures are to be copied or pasted or saved or put on any other site through any mechanism without my *express* permission. Regardless of the intention behind doing so, I do not want my pictures or work reproduced by anyone unless I have explicitly stated that such is acceptable to me. This includes pasting my pictures or writings on hair sites for the purpose of discussion - NONE of that any more, please. Unless you have sought and secured my approval, my pictures and words are for viewing ONLY. Thanks.
