Things are definitely looking up. The hair has grown a decent amount since I put in the extensions.

Right now, I use Elucence MBC, followed by Aveda Elixir Leave in Conditioner and maybe a little carrot creme. I am on the hunt for a new routine...

It's starting to grow back, slowly by surely. If you look at these pics compared to January, my hair is definitely fuller/thicker (if that's even possible). If I can get the same amount of growth from now to May 1 (another 2 months) and then again from May 1 to July 1, I think I'll be able to get a decent style for the wedding! I'm psyched! Now, before folks start jumping on my case...length in general doesn't matter; however, for me personal, a little bit of length is a little more flattering. I WISH I could rock short styles the way some others do...so that's the reason I'm seeking a little more length for my wedding...okay!!!???

A little bit of TLC has helped me to come around. WHile I am still adjusting to the length, I am doing a lot of treatments. Right now, my regimen is con-was with Elucence, follow up with Infusium original leave-in treatment and then sebastian 9 potion. Leaves my hair soft which is all I'm looking for right now!

Did a deep treatment following Makeba's advice...olive oil, jojoba oil and honey mix. Turned out really soft. I think I'll be following that every Saturday morning for a while...stay tuned.

NEVER AGAIN, will I color, press, temporarly straighten, apply heat, and so on and so on to my hair. The only heat will come in the form of a hooded dryer while conditioning with a plastic cap. I've still got some trimming to do (in the front, where else?) as it grows out, but I will truly be living a chemical free life.
