This is third day hair for me.

Day 1:
Water/Co-wash, add my leave in conditioner (tons of it) and rake through some gel.

To sleep, I just sleep with a scarf.

Day 2:
The first real day I wear it out. I don't particularly like the noodle look of first day hair.

Day 3:
It starts to become it's own entity and that's when I like it. It's bigger and fluffier, not quite as defined.

So, my hair is just super thick (still!). I don't wear it out, and I no longer "define my curls" on a regular basis. For the most part, it's co-washes and buns.

But now I am going back to my braids. Super thick, MBL hair + pending postpartum shedding = braids for sanity. It will limit manipulation, protect my ends in the harsh winter, and hopefully minimize whatever shedding is sure to come.
