So, my hair is just super thick (still!). I don't wear it out, and I no longer "define my curls" on a regular basis. For the most part, it's co-washes and buns.
But now I am going back to my braids. Super thick, MBL hair + pending postpartum shedding = braids for sanity. It will limit manipulation, protect my ends in the harsh winter, and hopefully minimize whatever shedding is sure to come.
