Day 7 - Archipielago Melchior (LAT/LONG:64º 19' S/62º 57' W)
First time for everybody, including our Leader. So the exploration started and 5 minutes later two leopard seals showed up. This seals are the Penguin predators and are known for being very curious. They approach to the boat but loose interest as they realize we have no feathers... Glup..! The Expedition kept on and about 45 minutes later we landed at a nice rookie beach were everybody relaxed and enjoyed the sound of the waves hitting against the rocks. Oh yes, though er are already used to them, and they seem to be the most normal animals around, Chinstrap Penguins and Weddel seals lay on the snow and rocks, seems they became part of the group...
BBQ!!!! no, no, it's ASADO, thjere's big difference, BBQ has Pork Chops and sweet sause, Asado is pure Argentinean meat with real Chorizo, mollejas and Chimichurri!!! And the day is gorgeous, sun for our Asado at the Back Deck with spectacular Melchior Islands surrounding us.
