From Gloucester, MA, aboard of Miss Cape Ann, operated by Capt. Bill’s crew, we sail with naturalists from The Whale Center of New England to waters of the Stellwagen Bank (at the mouth of Massachusetts Bay, three miles north of Cape Cod and three miles southeast of Cape Ann), where whales are feeding since May till October. Krill and other foods become plentiful at this time, so we had great opportunity to spot whales in their natural environment.
