Col. Richard Cole is honored. Col Cole was Jimmy Doolittle's co-pilot in the lead plane during the first raid against Japan, flown from the deck of the carrier HORNET in April, 1942.
On hand to meet him, and put him back in the right seat of a B-25, was the crew of the Yankee Air Museum's YANKEE WARRIOR, ably escorted by Mr. Jack Roush in his P-51D GENTLEMAN JIM.
