Israel called me at work in the morning and said the day was too beautiful not to be fishing, so I took the afternoon off, went to Hull, and fished.

A bunch of terriers get together every once in a while in Foxboro and race each other for a "rat" (basically a really smelly rag on a rope), crouch through tunnels, and get to sniff real life rats and squirrels in cages.

Evan's last night we went to the Legal Sea Foods Test Kitchen in Southie. He's moved on to greener pastures in Seattle.

This baby kept me in California for an extra three days while Logan was closed. Tough life :)

I broke my leg (fibula a few inches below the knee) and ankle (tibia as an evulsion fracture) playing soccer. I had surgery to get screws in my ankle. These are some pictures from the recovery.

I bought her from a friend of a friend named Denise. The bike's name has been and will continue to be Zuzula. She's carried Denise to success in dozens of tri events, and, if I treat her well, she'll do the same for me.

Sean Connery, my 1997 Monte Carlo, has gone seriously downhill recently. The anti-lock brakes are done, the compressor is done (meaning no A/C, among other things), the front tires are nearly completely bald, the entire interior is stained, the driver's side door is falling apart (the power lock buttons have already fallen into the door itself), the left back tail light is busted (casing and all), the power steering hose is leaking, the wheels need aligning pretty badly...the list continues, and is long enough that fixing him will cost much more than its worth.

Michelle and I spent the weekend test driving all kinds of makes and models, and ended up buying a 2005 Toyota Matrix, that we nicknamed the Nebuchadnezzar (or "Nezzer" for short).

Dave Thal and his Japanese girlfriend Chikako (like "Chicago") visisted, and we went to Ashley English's going away party, as she was moving to DC.
