Touring in a "hop on, hop off" bus the center of the city, historic and business. The locals call the business center "little Manhattan". Visited the following: Plaza de Colon, Monumento a Colon, Museu Arqueologico, Plaza de Independencia, Park de Retro, Palacio de Communicacions, Museo del Prado, Jardin Botanico, Plaza de Canova de Castro, Catedral de la Alaudena, Plaza Mayor, Palacio Real (royal pharmacy, armory and gun collection), Plaza de Oriente. Ate in "La Botilleria", "Brasserie" and visited a Flamenco restaurant. Dinner at the Flamenco restuarant cost us €200, food was ok but the show was amazing.

We found Madrid similar to Rome but not as interesting. The service was, let's say, non existent.
