some more photos of the crashed plane

Sunday May 25 a plane from Kalitta Air (american) crashed in the runway at Brussels Airport en broke in 3 pieces.

As the planed was taking off for a long distance flight to Bahrein it was fully tanked. The fire brigade has been pumping the kerosine out for the past 3 days. This afternoon they gave the "all clear" so I managed to get even closer to takes some new photos.

Wow! I did not realize it got so close to the rail tracks! Imagine you to see that from the train as it happened! Nice album.

Wow what a bizzare image! One usually sees this type of activity going on around the charred remnants of formerly well-constructed machines. You know if this this thing was fully tanked at the time, I'm absolutely amazed that the whole mess didn't just turn into a raging fireball!!

It was a miracle that the fuel didn't take fire; the plane was fully loaded for a long distance flight...

I think that in case he would have slided down and hit the railway cables, this could have been exactly what would have happened.
They have been pumping the kerosine out of the plane for the past three days. Only this afternoon the fire brigade gave the "all clear". That's why I could get even closer today.

He broke his face against the tarmac...

Actually ... he broke his belly as well !
I don't think planes have feelings though ...
