The biggest attraction in Minnesota, Mall of America sits at the intersection of Highway 77 and Interstate 494 in Bloomington. Near the airport, it attracts millions of foreign visitors each year. It has over 4 million square feet and encompasses everything from an underground aquarium to an enclosed theme park called Camp Snoopy. It's motto: "There's a place for fun in your life".

I can't believe someone would post their grievences about a Minnesota store of all things on your website. This is not a customer service site Mr. Garcia. Grow up.

I don't know who receives these comments, but I would like to add a comment about my experience at Minnesot-ah. First of all, let me say that the first time I visited the store, three years ago, the whole transaction went great. I chose some gifts, explained that I am in the military and stationed overseas, and was informed that the store would ship the items to me at my APO/FPO address. The service was exlempary and the salesperson was very informative and helpful in choosing the gifts. However, on Saturday, August 3, 2002, my opinion of this store was severely altered. My family and I were in the mall to find some last minute gifts for my in-laws and had only one day to do it. After shopping all day in the mall and finding very little with a Minnesota flavor, I reminded my wife of the "little Minnesota store" we shopped at last time we were there. So we agreed to go there. We shopped for almost two hours and found gifts for the whole family. We put our approximately 300.00 - 400.00 worth of merchandise on the counter and I explained to the cashier that I was in the military and was stationed overseas, but that I did have a domestic U.S. address for shipping purposes. However, she said "I don't know how to do it." I asked "well do you know how to ship to any other U.S. address?" She said "yes, but I don't know how to ship to military addresses." I explained that we had just spent almost two hours in the store and that we expected to be able to ship the items like we had in the past. I then asked her to call her manager and maybe he/she could assist her, she said the managers were both out of town and unreachable. I said so there is no way I am going to have the items shipped to me, because you don't know how? Then she came around the counter and started pointing in my face and yelling at me. I think it is safe to say that I will never set foot in this store again.

(MrMN's reply: I'm sorry to hear about your bad experience in this store. I hope the rest of Minnesota didn't get you such a bad experience. Yes, retail is difficult (for shoppers and the employees)!)
