Reception, Shore Tours & Photo Gallery - Balmoral

Reception is on Main Deck 6; lower level of the two storey Atrium. A rather glitzy area packed with chrome & glass, shiny ceiling & chrome staircase. Tucked away almost under the staircase is an Arnaldo Pomodoro 'Globe' [must be the offspring or kid brother of Costa Classica's, as half the size], but the setting does not do it justice. Too dark with too much reflection from the patterned carpet & surrounds on its shiny surface. Almost ignored by all & out of place. A move to a corner of the Braemar Lounge might be appropriate, with more seating in Reception.

The Shore Tours, Future Cruise & Customer Relations Offices all occupy the area around the Atrium with the Photo Gallery foremost.
