Sail away from Rotterdam 18:00 aboard ms Boudicca. We had for over an hour been serenaded by Barend Fox, a shanty choir from the Rotterdam Fire Brigade; it was fun.
Being Boudicca's first ever call at Rotterdam we had a fire-tug spraying too. A lovely send off with many waving and cheering from the banks of the Nieuwe Maas.

There are 3 main anchorages for vessels awaiting a berth at Rotterdam. Over 46 were around & about as we sailed through around 9am, with a few underway towards their docks.
