Art?... This mainly consists of photographs of previous DFDS Vessels and a few posters, that are hung around the interiors of ms Duchess of Scandinavia

Cabin 4209, 4 berth standard outside in the 'red section' on Deck 4, to port.

2 Upper and 2 Lower bunks, not particularly comfortable, but with nice, although thin, duvets. The cabin had seen some wear and tear, one light fitting about to fall off, and another obviously replaced. The Sprinkler was taped up with a piece of paper sticking out of it, the radiator was filthy, with drink spillages which had never been cleaned up.

The rest of the cabin and bathroom was however clean. A few small enamel chips on the basin, nothing much. Soap & shower gel were provided by means of dispensers. The shower curtain was 9" off the floor so water everywhere, but it did drain away.

No TV, Phone etc.. small old fashioned radio on the wall, not sure if it worked as such, or if it was purely for the announcements; of which there were many, but necessary ones. 2 x European 2 round pin, 220v outlets. A few hangers on a rail, no other storage [well it's not needed anyway]. Temperature control appeared to be by means of opening and closing the door vents, but as all was fine we didn't need to investigate. There is no-smoking in the cabins on any DFDS vessel, so all smells fresh.
