A standard outside cabin, far more spacious than the inside we previously had on Six Deck [don't believe the stories of all standard cabins on QM2 being the same size]. Lovely huge shelf behind the bed in front of the porthole, which was deep through the hull. Comfy bed, pillows non-existant squares. Bedside tables awkward with fixed lamp in the centre. Still lack of storage space even for 2. Sofa, Chair, Dresser with 2nd chair, 2 x US Pin 110v & 2 x UK 3 Pin 220v outlets - drawers too thin for much, hairdrier in one, which only seemed to blow cold air, fridge with over priced soft drinks. 2 Hanging wardrobes, a few drawers in the middle, safe [PIN or Card operated]. Nice bathroom, with storage, water still ends up on the top dribbling down the tap on to the side, steward put towel under my washbags to catch the water.
Good large shower, room for 2. Adjustable shower head, good pressure & controllable temp. Toiletries provided:- Cotton wool/ear-buds, Canyon Ranch Camomile shampoo [not nice], Gilchrist & Soames gel, conditioner, body lotion [fine], tissues etc. Plenty of storage cupboards in here. Robes & Slippers.
A very quiet convenient position near 'A' Stairwell. One can hear the water slapping & banging against the hull in not so calm seas. I like this, some don't.
