    Failaka[h] is an island approx 20km NE of Kuwait City. 24km sq & Kuwait's main archaeological site. Antiquities of the Bronze Age Dilmun, date back to 3000 BC, when the Greeks arrived sent by Nearchus, one of Alexander the Great's admirals. The settlement Ikaros became a real city occupied for 2 centuries.
