An attempt to see both Emerald Princess & Princess Daphne make their inaugural calls at Dover. However Emerald Princess went to Zeebrugge instead as the winds were too high for her to attempt Dover & Princess Daphne sheltered along the coast finally berthing just before 16:00 [due 12:00], after I had had to leave.
A few photos of the ferries at Dover in the wind - some waited outside port for a while before attempting an entrance with tug Dauntless standing by. Maersk Dover, SeaFrance Renoir, Côte d'Albâtre, European Endeavour, European Seaway - few others in the distance.
