Scheduled to arrive at 06:30 she was just over an hour late arriving at Southampton. Berthing at 101, City Cruise Terminal.

After dropping a friend at QEII Terminal for an ORIANA cruise we stopped alongside Tug Tender Calshot, berth 42, the old railway terminal, for a few head on photos. LIVERPOOL EXPRESS sailed by departing Southampton.

Nothing has been done since my visit in August 2008 despite various news reports stating she would be removed as 'an eyesore' to make way for new properties.

During the morning we had watched a few small boats [Sunseekers? ] sail up the Water to be loaded on STADIONGRACHT. She sailed approx 15:00

3 sad looking vessels. CAEDMON, CENRED & CENWULF previously run on the Yarmouth/Lymington crossing since 1973/4 [with CAEDMON initially on the Portsmouth/Fishbourne route] have now been replaced by Wight Light and Wight Sky, with Wight Sun on her way from the builder's in Croatia - 4 & 5 April 2009
They will remain laid up at Marchwood until at least the end of April 2009, for sale; or a trip to the scrapyard.
