Annual Butchering Party photos.....if you have a weak stomach, you may not wish to look at these photos. The Butchering Photos are just that.....men and women butchering hogs. Yep, 7 hogs were bought and sent to the local butcher and then picked up after hanging overnight. The family then proceeded to cut up the hogs in the fashion that they like and the women were inside the house to package the meat. Hundreds of pounds of meat were processed during this weekend and even more money was saved by many families by doing this. It is hard work but well worth it.

We went to Current for Labor Day weekend. Floated the river, ate at the Landing, went to The Pit Stop, Big Spring, and Watercres Springs. Time to get away and visit with family.

After Will's birthday party, we all gathered up our stuff and headed over to Grandma and PaPa's house to pick some pumpkins. The kids got a lil hay ride out to the pumpkin patch. I'm not sure who had more fun pumpkin pickin....the adults or the kids! We all had a blast out in the fall sun, finding the perfect pumpkin, throwing it to the person nearest the trailer, watching the kids pick out the one they wanted and try to carry it, and just being with one another. Just a perfect end to a perfect day!!!
Oh ya.....Matt and I went out bow hunting as well. Check out the frame by frame shots I did as he shot at this buck. It was a pretty neat experience! He didn't get the deer but I got my shot.....lost his arrows tho :( But we have cool pics right? :))

Jason and I went to St. Louis to watch the Cards play. It was my first time to ever watch a professional baseball game. We met up with his father and sister for the game and we all had a blast! Of course, I had to do all the traditional baseball fav's......beer, hot dogs, nachoes, popcorn and peanuts. I can't wait for my next game!
