Right after I took my microbraids out...

I decided to get kinkies cause I haven't had any in two years and I really liked them when I had them.

I had my kinkies for just a little over a month and I've experienced a lot of growth, but I got a lot of shreddage too! Oh, well loving my hair! Coming up: Color!!!

Two months since last update

Well I erased my pics from Aug, so here's Sept. I've basically been wearing kinkies for this entire month.

It's been a few months but like I said, been busy with school and haven't been wearing my natural out. But it's summa and the hur is out!

Finished guys! Cumalitively, it only took 9-10 hours to do them. I'm the biggest procrastiner and staller, so if I can do this....anyone can.

Ok, since I tried and succeeded in the kinky twist I wanted to take on a new challenge, Spring Twist!

I haven't mastered the technique fully but I think I did ok.

. My first experience getting one wans't so great because I had gotten cheap hair and the stylist didn't do such a good job. But this time, I left out with great results!

I also wanted to post this pic to prove to women who are hesitant to go natural because they can't seem to do without straight hair, that natural hair is very vesatile while relaxed hair isn't; once you permanently straighten your hair there's no going back. With being natural and just flat ironing my hair, which is what i did to the front, I still can go back to my natural.

Let me say that there are natural women out there who are totally against straight hair(in any form) and weave. I didn't go natural because I was anti straight hair, I went natural because I am anti-chemical and loved how versatile natural hair is.
