AUGUST 24TH 2006, PLUTO WAS DEMOTED TODAY FROM PLANETARY STATUS, It is now shares a classification among other asteroids in our solar system. An historical day requiring all text books to be rewritten.

Dark Side of the Moon

several years ago I came across a NASA photo at a flea market, It is an original with hand written notation, it is labeled

NASA-LRC Lunar Orbiter Project-mission IV
space craft frame 187 1 of 1
medium resolution.

I believe this was a project carried out in the early 60's to
scout for potential landing sites.

The following photos are macro shots from different areas of the poster sized print, I have enhanced them and so these are one of a kind photos.
