A psalti (who is waiting to find the right wife to become a priest) whom we hired in Miami for Great Week services takes me around Patras. Also, shots from Pireas and Patras and a convent somewhere between them of my good friend Loukas, his wife and daughters, sister (the nun), and the rest of his family. Both are friends who did time in Miami.

This town, named after the great ancient intellectual Pythagoras, is on the southern coast of the Island of Samos, Greece, where he was born. He fled to Naples (Neapolis or "New Town") because of a disagreement with the Tyrant of Samos. It was in Naples that he taught.
