    hello, the letters stand out in the paints and varnishes have painted oz? we do not see the traces of Bare-metal? these letters is difficult ... Have you a picture once finished? Thank you very much Jean-Jacques

      Hi Jean,

      I don't have pics yet of the painted hood as I haven't rubbed it out yet. If you look at my Cougar II album and look at the finished pics, take a look at the Ford lettering at the bottom of the front fenders.

      I did the same technique there and it worked out pretty well. The trick is to burnish the BMF down well enough so the edges are not showing, and then carefully rubbing away the paint from the letters after it has fully dried.
