Costume Bee for Children's Hospital

It's odd...I never thought I'd be hanging out with the Fashion Club. But here I am. The Common Threads Club at Woodbury University has been making costumes for kids stuck at Children's Hospital for a couple of years now, and this time I helped out.

Jedi robes are complex to do. How do you make up quickie Padawan outfits to go with some donated toy lightsabres? I had an idea. This is part of it...this is an "insta-obi," to be fastened with velcro, with a strip of pleather sewn to it to give the appearance of a belt.
