I have never thought of myself as a beautiful person, either in the physical or, even, in the "person" senses. I am trying to explore those concepts -- the physical and the "person" beauty.

This was the backdrop that I made for a project in my Museum Technology course. It isn't correctly to scale but the intent was to recreate the sense of the place. I had to create a showcase to announce a show. Unfortunately, I can't find all the images.

The idea of "The Exquisite Corpse" is that 4 people collaborate in the creation of a piece of artwork. The first person creates the first (topmost) "slice", an unfinished artwork.

The second person receives the bottom section (15 X 450 pixels) of the top slice. They work from the little information that slice provides and create the second "slice". The 3rd and 4th participants receive the thin section of the slice before them and create their "slices". When the last slice is completed and submitted, the image is placed together for the first time and the participant get to see how successful their collaborative effort is.

Thia was a piece I made a neumber of years ago and eventually gave to my niece for her birthday.

After photographing it recently, I fiddled with some of the images and liked the way they turned out. They remind me of the Communist Chinese propoganda prints in a weird sort of way.

After watching the film "MirrorMask"< i was really inspired by the artwork and wanted to get back into doing something creative after my little accident and a bit of the doldrums. However, in order to do that, I really wanted a drawing tablet for my computer. I couldn't afford one, so imagine my surprise when my sister out of the blue decided to get me the following for Xmas!
