| | Rockliffe Airbase  | | Rockliffe Airbase is slowly but surely being "decommissioned" Only a few streets of mostly personnel housing remains on what was once one of the bsuiest airbases in Ontario. Empty houses and the many office buildings have been torn down, leaving narrow tarmac streets, slowly being eaten away by weeds and trees; cement stairs leading nowhere; and rusting roadsigns.
Soon, even those will be gone -- ripped up to make way for affordable housing for the rich. | | |
