| | | | | 2010 I know it took me a while to update but you all know how life gets sometimes :-) I have alot on my plate in the near future but I decided to share my new wash n go method with ya just in case it may help one of u as it has helped me achieve an improved wash n go! I tried the whole using regular cheapie conditioner as a leave in for a wash n go but my hair takes two days to dry when I do that and I don't like having wet hair for longer than a few hours so I decided to ditch that method and go back to my beloved PM the Conditioner but I added olive oil to the mix and followed PM the Cond and the olive oil with blue ecostyler gel. I have to give props to Nik-star for inspiring me to try the oil because she has a beautiful pic of her hair in a wash n go in which she incorporated castor oil to the mix so I just used olive oil instead :-) I love it! I have to admit that this may be my best wash n go yet! I was thinking about going to Target to buy some Kinky Curly CC and KT but I don't think I'll be needing them now! Hope you enjoy the pics ladies! | | -

Hey ladies! I know it has been FOREVER since I last updated! I've moved and have a career change in the works so please forgive my absence...I have been youtubing so hopefully you've been able to catch me there! Anyhoo, I wanted to share some updates on my hair and routine. First, I cut my hair AGAIN! lol...I just added some long layers because my hair had grown out so much, I had it straightened a few times and I came to a point where I was like "I'm bored to death with my hair...I need a change!" So, I decided to add layers :-) Y'all know how I do...One minute I want one length and the next I want to add dimension and character with layers! lol...Well, now I have been experimenting a little with twists which was a challenge for me because the only time I would wear twists is in the house prior to unraveling them to reveal a beautiful twistout! Things change and we grow so during my upward movement to explore new things and discover better ways of protecting my hair I decided to wear twists during the cold, cold winter! I've moved to another state where the climate is extremely different...Raleigh was warmer and didn't have harsh winters but Pittsburgh is another story!!! So, I had to figure out how to protect my mane and still be stylish! I have also decided to just use ultra moisturizing products and up my deep treatments as the weather here is brutally cold and I don't want to sacrafice length retention and the overall health of my hair...I have been using Shea Moisture's curl enhancing smoothie(SMCES) but I want to order more Qhemet Amla and Olive heavy cream because I LOVED it for my twists and I really need it this winter so I opted to just use up my SMCES and seal my ends with castor oil since the main moisturizing agent in QHemet A&O is castor oil ;-) I also plan to try to just let my hair grow to its fullest extent! HAHA....Let us see how that goes ;-) Thank you for visiting my albums and I will try to keep you up to date here as well as on my youtube channel! - Album was created 2 years 5 months ago and modified 2 years 5 months ago
