The Minchmoor

After the bad weather of the last few days, we were very lucky to have sunshine on our climb up the Minchmoor today. It was windy, and bracing at the top, but everyone enjoyed our day. The viewpoint is at 567m so we climbed uphill for about two miles from the start of the walk, quite a challenging start, but we all got there.

A beautiful walk down the glen along the Fingland Burn finished our walk and the coach then took us back to Peebles where we had a drink in the pub and some great chat.
