Like many model builders I was relegated to the basement which was not the best situation. No heat in the winter, no AC in the summer and all of the dryer lint a man could ever want. I decided to build a room to enjoy my hobby in and to display all of my Dale Earnhardt things. Every inch of the room was built by me. Started with two block foundation walls and a concrete floor. The room's floor is raised and insulated. The walls were framed up and insulated. I have more outlets and circuits then I'll ever need. The ceiling is also insulated. I now have heat and AC and decent lighting. I think it turned out pretty good! Unfortunately I have already outgrown it model wise. I have to store some kits outside of the room.
