i made some coconut milk this morning! it was great, tasted wonderful but my milk was alot darker than this. I noticed when I took the coconut out of the shell it still had a brown film around the nut whereas your nut is almost white! do you think my coconut was old? thats what im thinking....or could it be that you just have the fresh goodness?? lol
interesting.. my mum will sit on a traditional seat and grate the heck of the flesh meat.. half will go towards making coconut milk for rice the other to make coconut oil she never taught us though :(
Wow thanks for sharing this. I do remove the clumps but that's the part I USE. I don't throw them away. Once I finish removing the clumps I use the milk as a rinse that I leave in for a while and then rinse out.
Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwggggggggggg! That is me exclaiming and squealing in excitement and delight. I love, loove, looooove this tutorial. This fits my raw food diet and my hair. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmphhhhhh! That's me blowing you a kiss. Can you tell I like this tutorial? Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Ahm, what else you got to eat up at yo' house, Girl? Can I put my visit to see you, and eat at your house, on the itinerary during my trip to Ghana?

no. coconut milk has to be refrigerated once made. it has the tendency to turn rancid, and smell really really really really bad.
its and excellent addition to any DC though.
