but i love my loose hair soooooooooooo much!

yes i know i can't count lol! i started Sept 1st, which makes the month of Nov month 3.

1. right now, i think i'm starting to bud :) fuzzy stage here i come!!!!

Due to my all encompassing fear off build up, this is all i use when i latch my hair.

I wash every week, with diluted ORS creamy Aloe.

I spray my hair with diluted infusium 23 (original) after every wash.

During the week, i spray my hair with plain old water with a few drops of Lavender EO.

I wear a silk scarf to bed or when i'm at home lazying about.

I use either EVOO, Coconut oil, Grapeseed oil, Sweet Almond oil, Africa's Best Ultimate Herbal oil, Wheatgerm oil or mixture of two or three of the above.

Once a month i do a super clarifying session by adding baking soda (2 tablespoons) and diluted creamy aloe concentration on my scalp, i do an acv rinse then i henna my hair.

my hair is definitely changing. the twists are starting to shrink up, funny thing is, it is not a uniform shrinkage lol! each twist has a mind of its own, and when it feels its ready, it does its own thing lol! the back loc are really taking of, oh i also have to mention one in front at my hair line which has almost lost the 2 strand twist pattern.
i still wash every week, i've been wearing lots of sweaters and hats, i have to pay extra special care to avoid lint! ughh!

my hair is shrinking in layers lol! and i think it looks cute! the thickness is amazing! its getting harder to hold all my hair in one hand.

i love love love my locs! the styling options are endless as long as you have an imagination and access to internet lol!

Sage: Traditionally used to restore colour to greying hair. As a hair rinse, it removes dandruff.

i am lightening my locs naturally this months, (i have an album documenting it)

they are growing, thick, long and shrinking lol! not sure tthat makes sense lol! but its the reality of my locs,

i tried twisting my locs, i liked how it looked, but could not image it doing it more than once a month lol! and i would expect it to last through my hennaing, rinsing, Ayurvedic treatments, hot oil treatments etc lol! so, i'll stick to my beloved interlocing,

18th july
finished my reti yesterday after leaving it alone for a good 7 weeks. i think I'll wait 7-8 weeks in between retis instead of 5weeks.

my locs are definitely thickening up, I'm loving it! i want them to be soooo thick than i can't even hold then with two hands :)

they'll be a year on the 1st of September, wow time sure does fly!

i need to henna bad!! i can see the white bulb thingy on the shed hair in the inch and bit of my locs have haven't been hennaed yet. but i want to lift my hair color to the desire level before i henna. i can definitely see them, but not sure if others can....

sooo many locs thoughts on my mind this beautiful Sunday afternoon.

I've been wanting to dye my hair for years now, but have been way to chicken to. i henna all the time, but i wanted to lighten up my hair to really make my henna pop! (cus i looove my henna )

so, I've decided to use lemon to lighten my locs!!

I'll wash my locs with ORS creamy aloe, then I'll saturate my babies with freshly squeezed lemon and enjoy some sun rays. I'll spray every week, for 2 months or till i achieve my desired lift; cus after the 3rd treatment, i might just do one more and be done lol! its really lightening up!!

CAUTION!! CAUTION!! to counteract the 'potential drying feeling' from the lifting process, I'll be DCing every week. so yesterday, i DCed overnight using an egg, yogurt and honey, next week I'll use an overripe banana, coconut cream and honey.
