These are some various shots of my SO during her loc journey. I will be posting more updates as they come. She started her loc journey in October, 2009 with three strand twists. We've been using palmrolling anywhere between every two weeks, to once a month. We've interlocked once, ehhh it was pretty cool. She's a frequent rinser, so I'm pretty sure that we will be interlocking as needed. Her regimen includes clarifying every two weeks with Giovanni Tea Tree Triple Treat Shampoo, an acv rinse, a various mixture of my oil concoction (castor, olive, sweet almond, rosemary eo, lavender eo, peppermint eo, and lemongrass eo...I think that's about it, lol). We retwist with a mixture of ORS Loc and Twist Creme Gel...., a lil honey and olive oil, and some AVG. I think that's it. We're experimenting with some things including a recent retwist with Oyin Burnt Sugar Pomade. I personally didn't like it, however she does so what can I say, lol. It smells great and doesn't leave her hair hard like some gels do. I will continue to post updates. Enjoy!
