Annecy claims to be the most romantic town in France and we actually believe it. The tiny old town and the lake front possess a very special atmosphere, sort of like a box of nice chocolates.
Palais de l'Isle was built in the 12th century and was the initially the residence of the Counts of Annecy. It served as the town prison since Counts of Geneva took over the town.
