This beautiful 130ha Reserve includes mangroves and freshwater wetlands. The Reserve has become well known for its wondrous birdlife, particularly during the migratory season of Sep-Mar when huge flocks of shorebirds visit the Reserve

Singapore's Zoo and Night Safari are a two-thumbs-up! There is nothing even similar to this in the world, where the only thing that holds a tiger from you is a glass partition or a little hedge...

The time in Singapore has rushed away so fast! ItÂ’s been a great time here, just relaxing and unwinding in preparation for the long trip to New-Zealand and Australia

This month was also a good opportunity to try out the new Canon 20D camera, and so far the results are just stunning! The big 200mm zoom allowed me to capture all these amazing animals in the Singapore Zoo, Night Safari and Bird Park, while the 18mm very wide-angle was great when shooting inside the amazing Emerald Buddha Palace in Bangkok. CanÂ’t wait to see what this camera will do with New-ZealandÂ’s landscapes.

This coming Monday IÂ’ll be taking the night flight to Christchurch, New-Zealand. I booked the flight using my air-miles, and for a change decided to pamper myself with Singapore Airlines` luxurious Business

It's my second day in Signapore today, just arrived here last evening. Still can't believe that not only I paid nothing for the flight, Cathay Pacific even upgraded to to business class - hurray! I ended up in a small hostel 15m away from the Mosque, which at 5am in the morning turned out to be a fatal mistake - Just about the time when they start screaming over a loudspeak how great Allah is. He might be, but not at 5am when you're trying to sleep...
Good nes is that I'm going to share an apartment with an ex-colleague from NICE, so I'm gettign my own room and there is a pool, sauna, jacuzzi and gym in the building - double hurray!
