As of today 8/19/10 . . . I'm 2 years and 5 months in. Wow - time flies!

Random pics . . . I haven't been keeping up with this lately. Been busy! But, this has how far my hair has come.

13 months and 6 days old . . . my babies are frizz free and doning some pizzazz!

11 months in . . . yay! Ignore the clips in a few pics . . . those two sometimes like to untwist shortly after they've been twisted. *smile*

Ok - so, sad to say, I was unable to see Camille this week. Thus, the loc maintenance was left up to me. Here are pics after I washed, palm-rolled and twisted the front of my hair back -- hair still wet; clips still in place. LOL! Will add a pic or two once it dries. *smile*

So, life happenstances had me unable to make/keep an appointment with Camille for 6 weeks. I was FINALLY able to get it together to see her on this past Friday and this is what her did!!! I'm lovin' how the length is coming along and allowing for more styling options. I'm gettin' there . . .

Went to Camille's shop (Noire) today and thought I'd take a few premi pics of my 6 month old babies. So check them out and let me know what you think. At the end are some comparison shots from the beginning, 3 months in and the 6 months in. Thanks!!!

She may have grunted a few times, and it took some fancy pinning work, but Camille did it! She gave me my first li'l up-do! I'm on my way!!! Watchoutderenow!

So, here I am 3 days shy of my 32nd birthday, and I had to get the hair freshly maintained for the birthday weekend (THANKS CAMILLE!). My babies are 3 months old now . . . can you see how they've grown? I've added a couple of comparison pics at the end from when I started . . . share your thoughts!

So . . . with the experienced hands of Doc Robbins-Reed, my baby locs were born today! Yay! The look of the baby locs is something that I'll have to get used to and the process something I'm prepared for . . . but, I'm so ready. Let's get this ball rollin'! In a few of the pics, you'll see that I gently pinned a few back to assist me in "dealing" with the look for now. However, I am absolutely in love!!!

Ok - so I've changed plans big time! No longer waiting until the summer to start my locs . . . starting them in TWO DAYS!!! (THANKS CAMILLE!) And I thought I'd take a few pics of my hair's last days of being unloc'd. I'm working with nearly 6 inches of hair now . . .
